Doctor appointment

Today Tim went for his 8(9) month doctor appointment.

Stats
  • 27 3/4 inches
  • 19.2 lbs

And he was deemed a very healthy boy.

The doctor gave us the go ahead to replace his bottles with a cup, but told us to hold off on the whole(homo) milk until Tim is a year old. We will definitely miss this doctor, he has been nothing but great. Wish us luck with finding a good pediatrician back home.

Tim's next appointment will be in December. Not including going in for flu shots.

One more week

This may be my last post until we arrive back in Canada. Which could be about two weeks. We are leaving Alabama on the 31st, and will be packing like crazy over the next week, as well as cleaning. That leaves me thinking that I probably won't have very much time to get on the Internet.

Here's some foods we've tried in the last month.
  • Grapes
  • Mango
  • Mushrooms
  • Cheddar
  • Blueberries
  • Watermelon- he thought this was yucky
  • Chicken

Here's a video of Tim sharing his Cheerios with his dad.

I will probably update after Tim's doctors appointment. Everyone have a good labor day.

New favorite toy

I gave him the turkey baster because he was so bored with his other toys. And he just loved it. I even moved it into his bath so he could play with it in the bathtub. I have officialy(sic?) made it a new bathtub toy.

And now he's getting into everything

He's started to follow the cats around. I'm not sure how much they like this, but I guess they'll have to learn to live with it. This is also my first YouTube posting experience. I am now official YouTubed. Thanks Kerry for the great tip, it worked so much better then Photobucket.

Shopping trip

Today was Tim's very first time sitting in a shopping cart. At first he was a little weary of his adventure. Once he got used to sitting in the seat, he had a great time. He stared at everybody who walked by our cart, and lots of people stopped to say hi. He even met a few other babies sitting in their shopping cart. Tim was so well behaved the whole trip, to my surprise, even though we went to a few different stores.

Have you heard about the heat wave. We reached the triple digits today. Hot, Hot, Hot. It's so hot, that you don't even have to move to sweat buckets.

Let's see...

Not much has been happening lately. Tim's at a little stand still with his development,he just loves rolling on the floor so much. But not as much as I love pulling his hands away from the cords along the wall. We have no plans to baby proof, seeing as we are moving at the end of the month. Speaking of moving, my husband hadn't told his mom that we were moving before I posted it on the blog. So when he called to tell her, she already knew. Hi Brenda.

Tim tried grapes today. I had bought a few things of baby food at
Target.

They were super cheap, so being the bargain shopper I love to be, I had to jump. So he had the
Gerber banana, plum and grape combo. Tim loved it. I on the other hand thought it was disgusting.

To explain my absence from the world. No we can't blame this one on Harry Potter, I finished that ages ago. No, I will put blame on the Tudors. The popular Showtime TV program. If you haven't checked this show out. I strongly suggest you do. I think it's better then the Sopranos.

Okay, Okay now to get to what this blog is really about. Tim has been rolling like crazy. I took a few videos of the rolling to show my readers, but Photobucket has been acting up for me. I will get the videos posted as soon as I can get them uploaded. If anyone knows an easier way to get them posted on here let me know. I am sick of waiting on Photobucket.

Blaine's been reading the last Harry Potter. Finally he's actually interested in reading.

Here's a picture of Tim after a meal. Don't you just love that smile.

Here he is standing up. Holding onto the table.

And to finish of the post. Blaine and I have an announcement to make. We will be moving back home at the end of August. We decided that it is in our, mostly Tim's, best interest to move closer to family.
